Step 1: Create a payment request by selecting Malaysia as the country you are paying from and entering the amount you wish to pay in your destination currency. Choose the payment method “Bank Transfer in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR)” and provide the requested information.
Step 2: A Flywire payment ID (3 letters + 9 numbers) will be created for you, with customized payment instructions. Scroll down to download the Authorization Letter and payment instructions, which contain Flywire's account details for you to transfer the funds
Step 3: Make your payment in MYR following the payment instructions. You can complete your payment by any of these methods, depending on your bank:
- Mobile banking
- Internet banking
- ATMs
- Bank transfer at your bank counter
Please make sure that the payment ID is included in the payment description or reference field. The transfer must be in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). You may incur additional costs if you send funds in any other currency due to additional foreign exchange fees.
Step 4: You must visit your nearest Lulu Money (Malaysia) branch to verify your payment. You can locate your nearest Lulu Money (Malaysia) branch here.
Please print the following documents and bring it with you to the Lulu Money (Malaysia) branch:
- Payment Authorization Letter: Your payment instructions document downloaded from your tracking link page
- Identification of the payer/bank account holder: The person who sent the funds, either (a) Malaysia Identity Card for Malaysian residents OR (b) Passport for non-Malaysian residents
- Proof of payment or proof of electronic funds transfer
- You may be required to complete additional payment verification steps, e.g. AML Declaration Form, Letter of Representation Form

Step 5
We will update your payment status on Flywire within 72 hours after you have completed both steps:
1) Completed making your payment and
2) Payment verification at a Lulu Money (Malaysia) branch.
We will notify you via email once we have received your funds and delivered your funds to your institution.
If Lulu Money (Malaysia) is unable to verify your payment within 5 business days from the date of your funds being received, Lulu Money (Malaysia) will return your full payment to the originating bank account.
