Step 1: Create a payment request by selecting Malaysia as the country you are paying from and entering the amount you wish to pay in the destination currency. Choose the payment method “Bank Transfer in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR)” and provide the requested information.
Step 2: A Flywire payment ID will be created for you. To access your payment instructions, you must first upload:
- The payer's valid national ID
- A selfie of the payer with the ID or passport
Once you have successfully uploaded the requested documents, scroll down to download the payment instructions that contain Flywire's local partner's account details for you to transfer the funds.
Step 3: Make your payment in MYR following the payment instructions provided on your tracking page. Please note, this payment option is for online / electronic and mobile bank transfer only.
Please make sure that the payment ID is included in the payment description or reference field. The transfer must be in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). You may incur additional costs if you send funds in any other currency due to additional foreign exchange fees.
Step 4: Once you have completed your bank transfer, upload the proof of payment for your completed transaction. Our local partner, Lulu Money (Malaysia), will verify your documents in order to continue processing your payment. When Will I Be Notified About My Payment?
We will update your payment status within 2-3 business days once both steps have been completed:
- Transferred completed by online or mobile banking
- Payment verification by Lulu Money (Malaysia)
We will notify you via email once we have received your funds and delivered your payment to your institution.
If Lulu Money (Malaysia) is unable to verify your payment within 5 business days from the date of your funds being received, they will return your payment in full to the originating bank account.
