When you create a payment request with Flywire, a Payment ID is automatically generated. This is a unique reference code consisting of either 3 letters and 9 digits (e.g., ABC111222333) or 15 alphanumeric characters (e.g., 1AB11AB111ABA1B).
Why your Payment ID matters
Each payment has its own corresponding Payment ID that allows Flywire to match your funds to your payment.
Where to find your Payment ID
You can find your Payment ID in the following places:
- Confirmation emails: Check any email the payer received from Flywire after creating your payment request
- Tracking page: The confirmation emails sent to the payer contain a link to your tracking page where you can find all of your payment details
- Flywire account: If you have a Flywire user account, log in and go to the "My Payments" section to view your payment history
