If you select to pay via "Domestic Bank Transfer in Indian Rupees (INR)" when creating a payment request we will provide you with the following:
- A set of payment instructions containing our bank details. You can download and use them to make a transfer from your bank.
- Depending on your payment request, you may need to complete an LRS Declaration (only if it is displayed in your payment request).
The payment instructions contain all of the details you need to complete your payment. If you were logged in to your Flywire account when you created the payment request, you can access your payment instructions from your Flywire dashboard or by contacting our customer support team.
If you created the payment request as a guest, an email containing a tracking link will be sent to the payer and the student. From the tracking link, you can download the payment instructions and track the status of your payment.
Making a transfer
You may send your payment through either National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) or Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS). If you are abroad, you can submit the payment instructions to your bank so they can make the transfer on your behalf. You may also ask a member of your immediate family (such as your mother or father) to assist you in making your payment as all of the necessary details will be included in your payment instructions once your request has been submitted.
Submitting the LRS Declaration
After creating a payment request, if the LRS Declaration is displayed, it is mandatory to complete and submit it to our local partner in India. Please note, if the LRS Declaration is NOT displayed, it is not required for the selected amount and relevant payment request. Review this article on this requirement for more information.
Instructions on how to submit your declaration will be provided in the payment request. The payer is required to fill out and submit the form along with a valid government-issued ID with address proof. Not submitting the form could result in delays or cancellation of your payment.
If you select the "Domestic Bank Transfer in Indian Rupees (INR)" option and the amount is equivalent to approximately $10,000 USD or less, the LRS Declaration will not be displayed. You do not have to fill out and submit an LRS Declaration as this information is collected as part of the booking process. Additionally, you do not have to submit a valid government-issued ID either, as your Permanent Account Number (PAN) will be validated in real-time when you create your payment request. The payment must be made from the PAN holder’s account.
