Does the Best Price Guarantee apply to Alipay, WeChat Pay, or UnionPay?
No. The BPG program is only available for unpaid Flywire payment requests created using the RMB bank transfer in CNY (人民币银行转账) method. Applications submitted for the following methods will not be accepted for Alipay ,WeChat Pay, UnionPay online or other card payments
Why is my final BPG amount slightly higher than my bank's quote?
This usually happens because the initial quote provided by your bank does not include the hidden standard fees associated with cross-border wire transfers (such as handling fees, cable fees, orIntermediary bank charges).
To ensure your institution receives the full amount without any unexpected deductions, Flywire applies a standard adjustment to cover these costs.
What should I do if my bank's total cost is still lower than Flywire's BPG price?
If you have verified that your bank's quote covers all intermediary fees and the final out-of-pocket cost is still lower, you can choose to make an international wire transfer directly through your bank. To do this, simply cancel your current Flywire payment request, create a new one, and click "Pay in another currency" (e.g., USD or GBP) to generate international wire instructions.
How long does it take to review a BPG application?
Applications are typically reviewed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). While waiting, please do not transfer any funds or submit duplicate applications, as this may delay processing.
What if my BPG is approved, but I find a lower rate later?
Once a payer has an approved BPG application, our system cannot process a new request for them within a 72-hour window. If you wish to apply again using a newly discovered rate, you must wait until 72 hours have passed since your last approval to submit a new application.
Can I combine the BPG with the China Reward or a promo code?
No. If your Best Price Guarantee application is approved, the adjusted exchange rate cannot be combined with any other offers or promotional programs.
