Flywire securely processes local debit and credit card payments from Nigeria. Before you begin, please review the limitations and requirements below to ensure a successful transaction.
Important requirements for NGN card payments
- Maximum transfer limit: This payment method is strictly limited to transactions up to 20,000 USD (equivalent in NGN). If your invoice exceeds this amount, you will need to choose a different payment method or split your payments.
- OTP Verification (Crucial): Your bank will likely send a One Time Password (OTP) via text message to complete the payment. You must have active access to the phone number linked to your bank account to receive this code.
Steps to complete your card payment in NGN
Once you have created your card payment request from Nigerian on Flywire, please follow these steps:
- Access your tracking page: Go to your Flywire payment tracking page and click the "Make Your Payment" button.
- Enter your card details: You will be securely redirected to our local partner's payment portal. Insert your card number, expiration date, and CVV code.
- Verify the transaction: Enter the One Time Password (OTP) provided by your bank via text message.
If your payment is successful, the page will update, and you will receive a confirmation email from Flywire shortly afterwards.
