The RUC (Registro Único de Contribuyentes) provided in our payment instructions is a tax ID issued for foreign companies operating within Peru. As Flywire is not a local entity based in Peru, your bank may reject our RUC if they choose to validate it before initiating the transaction.
If you are unable to complete your payment using the RUC provided in your payment instructions, you may visit your local bank branch before 1:00pm (PET) on any business day in order to initiate a “teleproceso” transaction. Two known banks to have the RUC as a required field for online bank transfers are BBVA and Banco Pichincha. If you are able to complete your payment as a transfer, you should do it as a “transferencia diferida”. If you are unable to make the transfer, you must complete your payment via “teleproceso”.
If you pay via cash deposit, we recommend that you upload your proof of payment via your tracking link page so we can properly identify your payment.
