This FAQ provides guidance on the refund and return process for payments made in Vietnamese Dong (VND). If your payment cannot be processed and needs to be returned, Flywire will ensure the funds are sent back to the originating account.
What information is needed to return a cash deposit in VND?
If you made a cash deposit at a bank branch without using a personal bank account, our local partner requires specific documents to verify the transaction before the funds can be returned.
Please prepare to provide the following documents:
- Original cash deposit receipt: The receipt provided by the bank at the time of your deposit.
- Proof of withdrawal: A withdrawal receipt showing the full amount taken from your bank account to fund the deposit (alternatively, a screenshot or passbook photo showing the withdrawal amount, date, and account number is acceptable).
- Payer identification: A copy of the government-issued ID that matches the name and ID number displayed on your cash deposit receipt.
What if I cannot provide a withdrawal receipt?
If a withdrawal receipt is unavailable, you must provide alternative evidence to verify the source of the cash:
- Bank statements: Detailed statements showing incoming and outgoing funds for the period during which the deposit was made.
- Proof of income: Official evidence of income from your business or employment.
Note: To ensure a secure and successful return, all documents must be clear, legible, and provided in full color. Our Support team will contact you via email to guide you through the secure upload process.
