If you are having trouble verifying your PAN for an INR payment, please check the solutions below for the two most common error messages.
Why does it say “No record found for the given PAN”?
If you receive a "no record found" message, it means your PAN data has not yet been fully updated in the official Indian Government Tax portal database. This typically happens in the following scenarios:
- Processing Delays: You have recently applied for a PAN through NSDL or UTI, but the TIN Center or PAN Card Office has not yet processed the physical application.
- Agent Submission: The agent handling your application has not yet submitted the paperwork to the NSDL or UTI systems.
What should I do?
- Contact the Authorities: You can reach out to the Income Tax Department of India directly to resolve the record discrepancy.
- Use an Alternative PAN: If you are in a hurry, you can use the registered PAN of a parent or relative.
📌 Note: If you use someone else's PAN, the funds must be transferred from that specific person’s bank account to remain compliant with TCS regulations.
My PAN is active on the government portal—why is it still showing an error on Flywire?
If the government portal confirms your “PAN is active and the details are matching,” but our website still displays an error, it is often due to a technical sync or browser-related issue.
Please check the following:
- Individual Status: Ensure the PAN card you are using is an Individual PAN.
- Use Google Chrome: Our platform is optimized for Chrome. Please try switching to this browser for the best experience.
- Clear Cache & Cookies: Sometimes old data interferes with the verification process. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then try entering the details again.
