You can pay your educational institution through Flywire using a domestic bank transfer in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) with Habib Bank Limited (HBL).
To complete your payment, you'll need to create a payment request through Flywire and visit an HBL branch with the required documents.
How to make your payment
- Create your payment request. Visit Flywire through your institution's payment portal, select HBL Bank transfer in Pakistani Rupee (PKR) by clicking Select, and enter the required student and payer information.
- Download your payment instructions. After creating your payment request, review your payment instructions and keep your Payment Authorization Letter, including your unique payment reference number.
- Prepare your documents. Gather the required identification and educational documents listed below.
- Visit an HBL branch. Bring your documents and payment instructions to an HBL branch (Prestige or HBL Currency Exchange). The bank will review your documents and help you submit your payment for processing.
- Track your payment. Once your payment has been processed by HBL, you can track its progress using your Flywire payment tracking link.
What documents do I need?
You'll need to bring the following documents to the HBL branch:
- A completed Application Form (Appendix V-82), filled out by the student, parent, or guardian
- A copy of the student's CNIC or Form B, and the parent or guardian's CNIC
- A copy of the student's passport
- An admission letter from the overseas educational institution
- A letter or cost sheet from the institution showing a breakdown of educational expenses
- Form M
- Confirmation from the bank that the account is repatriatable in nature

Your quoted exchange rate is locked for up to two days after you create your payment request.
To secure the quoted rate, you must visit an HBL branch before 12:00 PM (Pakistan time) the following day.
Your payment instructions will show the exact expiration date for your payment request. If your payment request expires before you complete the required verification, it will be canceled.
Additional bank fees
HBL charges an additional fee of USD 30, collected at the bank when your payment is processed.
Payment limits
Under State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations, overseas educational payments are limited to USD 70,000 per student per year.
How long does the payment take?
Once you complete your payment at an HBL branch and your documents have been verified, HBL will process your transfer.
- Payment received by Flywire: Funds are generally expected to reach Flywire on the next Pakistani business day.
- Payment delivered to your institution: Funds are expected to be delivered within approximately three business days from the start of the payment process.
Processing times may vary due to weekends, bank holidays, or additional verification requirements.
How can I track my payment?
You can check your payment status using either of these options:
- Email tracking link: Open the payment confirmation email sent by Flywire and select the tracking link to view your payment status.
- Flywire account: Log in to your Flywire account, go to My Payments, and select the corresponding payment to view its status.
Flywire will also send you email notifications when your payment is received and delivered to your institution.
