If you are completing your A2 cum LRS Declaration for a domestic INR bank transfer, you might run into a few common questions or technical hiccups. Here are the answers to help you submit your form smoothly.
Why does my LRS form state the destination country as the USA?
You might notice that the country section on your LRS Declaration is pre-filled as the United States of America, and the beneficiary address is listed as Boston, MA. This is completely normal, even if your educational institution is located in another country like Canada, Australia, or the United Kingdom!
Because your funds are initially being sent to Flywire's secure bank account, local Indian banks require the form to reflect the immediate receiving entity. Since Flywire Payments Corporation is headquartered in Boston, USA, our address is used for the LRS Declaration.
Please be assured: Once Flywire receives your INR funds, we will seamlessly process them into the correct destination currency and deliver them directly to your stated educational institution.
Why am I encountering errors when uploading documents or signing the LRS form?
If you are having trouble uploading your student passport, admission letter, or national ID, or if the system will not let you submit your digital signature, it is most likely due to an invalid file format.
A very common mistake is simply manually renaming a file's extension (for example, renaming document.pdf to document.jpg). Doing this actually corrupts the file, and our system will not be able to process it.
How to fix it:
- Please ensure you are using proper file conversion software or free online conversion tools to truly convert your documents into a valid PDF, PNG, or JPG format.
- Double-check that your combined file sizes do not exceed the 8MB limit.
