The Alipay cross-border payment through Flywire only supports the scenario when both payer and student are mainland China residents with a valid National Chinese ID card. If payers from regions such as Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan want to pay in CNY through Flywire, we recommend paying via UnionPay, Visa, Mastercard or any other payment methods.
Once the Alipay QR code of your payment is scanned, it cannot be scanned repeatedly by other Alipay users. If you would like to change the payer, you will have to cancel your current Alipay payment request and create a new one.
If you receive the error message "Debugging error, please return to the source of the request and re-initiate the request" (ILLEGAL_EXTERFACE), it is generally caused by the user using a mobile device to complete the payment. Please copy the link of your payment page and try to open it from a computer instead.
