Yes, it is important that you select to pay from the country in which your debit/credit card was issued as your card will be charged the amount and currency indicated in your payment request.
If a different currency is used, your bank will need to convert the funds from your card to the currency selected in the payment request in order for us to receive them. This will result in extra charges being applied by your bank to the amount settled between you and Flywire.
Please note, it is impossible for us to know if a credit card is denominated in any other currency, and additionally, we have no control over the conversion that your bank might perform.
