If your payment expired or was canceled after you sent the funds, it is usually because the required identity documents were not uploaded or verified in time.
Missing documents or failed verification for your MYR payment
Our local partner, Lulu Money (Malaysia), must verify your valid ID documents before they can send your funds to Flywire. If you made the bank transfer but did not complete this document verification, they cannot process the money. As a result, your Flywire payment request will automatically expire once the due date passes.
What happens to my MYR funds now?
Don't worry, your funds are safe. If Lulu Money (Malaysia) is unable to verify your payment within 5 business days of receiving your funds, they will return the full amount back to your originating bank account.
This return process usually takes 3 business days. However, it may take a bit longer if they need to contact you to confirm your bank account details.
