Trustly is a fast, simple and secure digital payment provider that allows you to pay from Flywire’s platform by logging in to your bank's online portal. Funds are typically debited from your account within 24 hours but it may take a few days for your payment status to be updated due to bank processing times.
Flywire will send the payer a final confirmation email once the payment has been delivered to your institution on or around the 5th business day.
How to Make a Payment
- Create a payment request: Begin the payment process at pay.flywire.com or access the unique payment link provided by your institution. Select the payment method “Online Bank Transfer in CAD” with the Trustly logo and fill out the required information in each step.
- Access your online banking platform: Search for your bank to log in to your account using your banking credentials.
- Confirm your payment details: The payment details will be pre-filled but you may need to provide additional information requested directly by your bank. Once you confirm the payment, the funds should be debited from your account within 24 hours.
That’s it! Flywire will update the payment status and send a confirmation email once the payment has been received.
Important:
- The payment should be completed within 15 minutes in order to avoid a time-out from your bank account.
- When using Trustly, your payment must be made from a personal bank account.
- If your account has a payment limit and your total amount exceeds the limit, your payment may be delayed.
