Trustly is a secure digital payment provider that allows you to pay Flywire directly through your bank’s online portal. While funds are typically debited from your account within 24 hours, the standard processing time for the payment to be delivered to your institution is approximately 5 business days.
Steps to complete your Trustly payment (CAD)
Unlike a traditional bank transfer, Trustly integrates directly with our platform. Follow these steps to ensure a successful transaction:
- Create your payment request: Start your request at pay.flywire.com. Select the payment method “Online Bank Transfer in CAD” (look for the Trustly logo) and enter the required information.
- Access your online banking: A Trustly window will appear. Search for your bank and log in using your standard online banking credentials.
- Confirm pre-filled details: Your payment details will be pre-filled automatically. Review the information and provide any additional verification requested by your bank to authorize the transfer.
Once confirmed, Flywire will track the funds and send you a confirmation email as soon as the payment status is updated.
Important requirements for Trustly (CAD)
To avoid delays or payment failures, please keep the following in mind:
- 15-minute session limit: For security reasons, you should complete the payment within 15 minutes to prevent your bank session from timing out.
- Personal accounts only: Trustly payments must be made from a personal bank account. Corporate or business accounts are not supported.
- Transaction limits: If your payment exceeds your bank's daily transfer limit, your payment may be delayed or rejected. Please verify your limits with your bank before starting.
