Does the payer need to register with PromptPay before making a transfer?

Payers transferring money via PromptPay do not need to register with PromptPay. All major consumer banks in Thailand support PromptPay. 

You can simply use Electronic Funds Transfer from your bank’s mobile application, internet banking or the ATM.
