Is my transfer domestic or international? / Why is there no SWIFT code on my instructions?
Flywire specializes in local collections to save you money. If your payment instructions are in your local currency and do not include a SWIFT code, you are making a domestic transfer to one of Flywire's local partner banks. You simply need to process a standard local bank transfer.
Why does the Beneficiary Address show as the USA when I am sending funds to the UK?
The address provided is based on Flywire's registered company address in the USA (Boston). This will not affect the transfer to the designated UK bank account.
What is the difference between a Beneficiary Address and a Beneficiary Bank Address?
- The Beneficiary Address refers to the person or entity receiving the funds.
- The Beneficiary Bank Address is the physical address of the bank holding the account you are transferring money to.
Why does my bank show a different Beneficiary Bank Address than what is in the Payment Instructions?
Some banks have multiple registered addresses. If the address shown by your bank differs from the one in our instructions, please contact Flywire Payment Support for further clarification.
I cannot include a Payment ID as Remittance Information – what should I do?
If possible, please include your Flywire Payment ID in the "Concept" or "Notes" field of your transfer details. If you are unable to include the full Payment ID due to limitations on your bank's platform, please include as many characters as possible.
Flywire uses the Payment ID in the transfer details to help identify your payment. If you are unable to include the Payment ID or you included a previously used Payment ID, we can still reference the payer information to ensure we are allocating the funds to the correct payment.
