To cancel a pending payment request, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Flywire account
- Click "My account" in the upper right-hand corner of the page and then click "My payments"
- Access your pending payment by clicking "View payment" for the relevant payment ID
- Select "Cancel payment" on the right-hand side of the page
You can also cancel your payment by accessing the tracking link in the email you received from Flywire and clicking on the blue button. Please note, you will still need to log in to your Flywire user account to cancel a payment. Don't have a Flywire account? You can easily create one in a few clicks.
Important:
- If you have already transferred your funds, contact your bank to have them stop the transfer.
- If Flywire has already received your funds, you will not be able to cancel your payment. In such cases you will have to wait until your payment is delivered. At that point, you can contact your institution and request a refund.
