Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the payment method of an existing payment request. To change your payment method, please follow the steps below.
Step 1: Access your tracking page
You can access your tracking page via one of the following options:
- Flywire notifications: Open any of the payment notifications emailed to the payer and click on the tracking link (the blue button)
- Flywire user account: Log in to your user account, click "My account" in the upper right-hand corner and then click "My payments". Afterwards, select the corresponding payment
Step 2: Cancel your payment
On the right side of the page, click "Cancel payment". Please note, you can only cancel your payment while logged in and if Flywire has not received the funds yet.
Step 3: Create a new payment request
Once your payment request has been cancelled, you can create a new one by accessing pay.flywire.com or by using the unique payment link provided by your institution.
Please keep in mind, once you select your institution and indicate which country you are paying from, all available payment methods will automatically be displayed. The total amount due will be indicated next to each option and may be different from your original payment request due to fluctuations in foreign exchange market rates.
If your preferred payment method is not listed, unfortunately, we are unable to offer it at this time.
