The Flywire Rewards Program offers additional value for Indian students. By completing international tuition payments through Flywire, you earn points that can be redeemed as discounts on future transfers.
Is my payment eligible for the India Reward?
This program is currently available to students from India paying in Indian Rupees (INR) for education in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, European Union, or Australia.
To earn rewards, ensure you are logged into your Flywire account. If you completed a payment as a guest on or after 18 December 2023, you can add that transaction to your registered account to claim your points.
How to earn rewards for my INR payment?
Reward points are automatically earned on tuition payments of 83,000 INR or more.
- Reward Value: You receive 0.25% of the transfer amount (up to 10,000 INR per payment).
- Payment Methods: Points can be earned using Domestic Bank Transfer, Online Banking (SBI, ICICI, HDFC, etc.), or Debit/Credit cards.
- Availability: Points will appear in your "Rewards" tab once the payment is successfully delivered to your institution.
How to redeem rewards?
For future tuition payments of 830,000 INR or more, you can apply accumulated points as a direct discount.
- Application: During the booking process, select the "Apply Rewards" checkbox. The discount will be reflected in your payment summary.
- Eligible Methods: Discounts apply to Domestic Bank Transfer and Online Banking in INR.
- Note on Cards: While card payments earn points, rewards cannot be used to discount a card-based transaction.
Important Program Guidelines
- Balance Inquiries: The "Rewards" tab becomes visible once your first eligible payment has been delivered. If you notice any balance discrepancies, please contact Flywire Support within 30 days.
- Points Expiration: Points remain active for 270 days from your last completed transaction.
- Booking Expiration: If a booking made with rewards expires before completion, points are automatically returned to your account balance.
- Exclusions: This program does not apply to foreign currency transfers (USD, GBP, etc.) or payments originating outside of India.
