To help us process your Bank Transfer in Vietnamese Dong (VND) smoothly, you will need to upload a few supporting documents to meet local regulations. We will process and deliver your payment to your institution just as soon as these documents are successfully reviewed.
How to securely upload your required documents (VND)
You can upload your documents right after creating your payment request. If you prefer to upload them later, simply use the tracking link included in the confirmation email Flywire sends you once your payment request is successfully created. Please keep in mind that you must upload these files before you can access your payment instructions.
Follow these easy steps to securely upload your files:
- Access your tracking link from the Flywire confirmation email, or log into your Flywire account and go to the "My Payments" section.
- Click the Upload Documentation button at the center of the tracking page.
- Click Upload and select the files from your device. (We accept PDF, JPG, and PNG files up to 8MB).
- Click Continue to payment at the bottom of the page once all of your files are attached.
After uploading your documents, you can immediately view and download the Authorization Letter and your payment instructions.
Important: To protect your personal information, please never send confidential documents to Flywire via email. Always use the secure tracking link so your data remains safe.

You do not have to wait for your documents to be approved before making your bank transfer!
Once you upload your files and download your payment instructions, you can go ahead and send the funds to Flywire's receiving account right away. Our local banking partner will review your documents as soon as they receive your funds. If we need any extra information to help move your payment along, our Support team will reach out to you directly.
Passport and Visa requirements for Vietnam (VND)
Depending on your student status, you might have questions about which identification documents to share:
- Expired Passports: We need a valid, unexpired passport to process your VND bank transfer. Unfortunately, we cannot accept alternative documentation if your passport is currently being renewed. Please wait until you have your newly renewed passport, and then submit a copy of it.
- Missing or Expired Visas: Providing a valid student visa, I-20 form, study permit, or residence card is completely optional. If your course hasn't started yet, or your visa isn't available (e.g., for online courses or first semester tuition), you can simply submit an official acceptance letter from your institution instead or a timetable indicating that your mode of study is online.
What happens if your VND document verification fails?
If there is an issue with your documents, don't worry. Flywire will send you an email explaining exactly what is needed. You can easily re-upload the correct documents using the secure tracking link provided in that email.
Please note that if we do not receive the correct documents within acceptable time , we will have to return your funds. The returned funds will go directly back to your originating account, and you will see them reflected within 5-7 business days.
