How do I make a payment through Flywire?

You can make a payment through Flywire by creating a payment request and following the payment instructions shown for your selected payment method.

Available payment options depend on your institution or organization, payment country or region, currency, and payment amount.

Create your payment request

1. Go to the Flywire payment page provided by your institution or organization.

   If you do not have a direct payment link, go to pay.flywire.com.

2. Select the country or region where your institution or organization is located.

   This is the location of the organization you are paying, not necessarily where you are located.

3. Search for and select your institution or organization.

   If you cannot find it, check whether your institution or organization provided a specific Flywire payment link.

4. Enter the country or region you are paying from and the payment amount.

   The country or region you are paying from should usually match where your bank account, card, or payment method is issued.

5. Select your preferred payment method from the available options.

   Flywire will show the payment methods available for your payment. These may include bank transfer, credit or debit card, digital wallet, or other local payment options.

6. Enter the payer information and payment information.

   Payer information should match the person or account holder making the payment. Payment information may include details required by your institution or organization, such as a student ID, invoice number, date of birth, or other reference information.

7. Review and confirm your payment request.

   Check that all payer, payment, and recipient details are correct before confirming.

Complete your payment

After you confirm your payment request, Flywire will show the next steps for your selected payment method.

Depending on your payment method, you may need to:

• Send a bank transfer using the Flywire payment instructions
• Enter your card details to complete an online card payment
• Complete payment through a digital wallet or local payment option
• Upload documents if required for your payment

Track your payment

After your payment request is created, Flywire will send a confirmation email with your payment details and tracking link.

You can use your tracking link to check your payment status and follow any additional instructions.

Flywire receives your payment

Once Flywire receives your funds, your payment status will be updated on your tracking page.

The time it takes for Flywire to receive your funds depends on your selected payment method. For some payment methods, it may take 1 to 3 business days for the funds to reach Flywire.

When your payment status is updated, your institution or organization may also be able to view that Flywire has received your payment. If you need to follow up with your institution, you can provide your Payment ID so they can check the payment status on their side.

Payment delivery

After Flywire receives your funds, payments are typically delivered to your institution or organization within 2 to 3 business days.

Once your payment is delivered, Flywire will send you a confirmation email. You can also download your payment receipt from your tracking page.

Your payment may take longer if:

• Additional review is required and the requested information or documents have not been provided
• The payment amount, currency, or payment details do not match your Flywire payment request
